Who is Brother Bill

Brother Bill is a retired US Navy Chaplain and currently endorsed by the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board and serving as a chaplain to the Internet community. With over 35 years of full time ministry as a pastor, he has served in several states of the United States and has been involved in mission service in Poland, Brazil and Mexico. He is a photographer and has a strong interest in using photography to capture the beauty of God's creation. He is married to a girl that he met 44 years ago on a mission field and they have raised children that love the Lord and have wonderful families of their own. He graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and from Vanderbilt Divinity school where he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree. He has taught at North Eastern Bible College and has been an adjunct instructor at one of our Baptist seminaries.

What We Do

Although Online Christian ministries uses online chat rooms as its primary outreach, it is not designed primarily as a chat room. It is that, but it is more. A visitor will be in awe by the love found. Two or three people will often be talking with us at the same time in private messages about a special need that someone has. Frequently, we will simply say, "let's pray about it." Without any further discussion, we will start to type out a heart filled prayer that is significant in the love that it shows for the person being prayed for. At other times, we simply respond to Bible questions. Quite frequently someone will pop in and out simply to share how God worked in their life that day and others will rejoice with them. sometimes a large number of Christians gather and a general chat goes on, allowing them to get to know each other. Our website is an extension of the live chat ministry and continues to be used to reach out to people in all parts of the world that often have little or no contact with a local church of any kind. Very often Brother Bill will be mentoring new and often untrained pastors and Christian workers in various countries of the world as well as online in various chat rooms.
